RACE REPORT | MotoGP Brazil 2026

Marco Bezzecchi delivered a dominant performance at the Brazilian Grand Prix, taking his fourth win in a row. The Italian controlled the race from start to finish, despite pressure from Fabio Di Giannantonio and teammate Jorge Martin in very hot conditions.

The race in Brazil was shortened by eight laps due to track surface issues caused by extreme heat. Bezzecchi made a strong start and took the lead into Turn 1, followed closely by Di Giannantonio. Marc Márquez also started well, while Fabio Quartararo dropped down the order early.

Most riders chose medium tyres, although a few opted for a soft rear. Early on, Di Giannantonio made a mistake, allowing Marc Márquez to move into second place. Behind them, Pedro Acosta briefly passed Martin, but the world champion quickly regained his position.

At the front, Bezzecchi built a small gap. A battle between Márquez and Di Giannantonio allowed Martin to move up into second. Further back, Francesco Bagnaia was recovering positions before crashing out, while Joan Mir also retired after a fall.

In the closing stages, Di Giannantonio and Marc Márquez fought hard for position, exchanging places after several mistakes and overtakes. However, neither could close the gap to Bezzecchi, who remained in control.

Bezzecchi crossed the line to secure another victory. Jorge Martin finished second, with Di Giannantonio completing the podium. Ai Ogura overtook Alex Márquez on the final lap to take fourth place.
